Professional Photography, the short version

My photography has appeared in magazine articles, advertisements, book covers, web sites, marketing materials, public spaces and many other venues. While his work has appeared in nearly every genre, he specializes in three uniquely challenging niches.

Unlike many commercial photographers who keep complete rights to their images, I share all rights, allowing you to use every image, in any way you like, for as long as you like. There are no "per image" fees beyond the original commission. This saves my clients a lot of money, and gives them a flexibility few commercial photographers all.

Technical Spaces

If With three decades work in designing and building some of the most forward looking spaces in media technology, it is natural that I have focused on photographing technical spaces and systems for broadcast, AV and Media Centric Technology. Capturing not just the image, but the design and workmanship that sets these spaces apart, my work is commissioned by systems integrators, manufacturers, architects and publishers.

Historic and Spiritual Spaces

A lifelong love of history developed into a passion for photographing historic and spiritual spaces. Capturing the unique atmosphere of these spaces, while taking special care to preserve them is the biggest challenge in historic images. Whenever possible I shoot with natural light. When extra lighting is needed, I use special low UV lamps to preserve colors and fabrics.

My historic and spiritual photography has appears in magazines, books, marketing materials, web sites, personal spaces and museums.

High Impact Landscapes and Abandoned Spaces

Living in Virginia and Vermont, and traveling worldwide, I have developed a reputation for high impact images that covers landscapes and abandoned places. This work has appeared in magazines, web sites, museums and personal collections.
