Let's start here.

And if you are reading this, you are thinking about the next steps in your personal and professional growth.

I am going to start with why, if you are considering a coach, you might want to consider me. After all, there are a zillion coaches out there.  Then I am going to talk briefly about what coaching is and is not. And last of all, I am going to look at the studies on the ROI (Return on investment) that studies show coaching provides.

Why Me?

I have been coaching at Quarry House since 2011. That's over ten years. I have worked with people in business, technology, the arts and in ministries. Most of my clients have worked with other coaches before coming to me. In 2020, I took some time to ask many of my past clients why they felt like we had succeeded together, when they had failed with others. The answer was almost always centered around the spirit.

You see, we know the steps to success. There has been a success book, success seminar movement for the past 50 years and no matter which of them you choose, they say mostly the same things. New buzzwords perhaps, but basically the same path. And those paths work when followed persistently. Most coaching programs pretty much follow these tried and true step by step paths to succeed. But still somehow, a tremendous number of people who start those programs manage to fail. And they think it is their fault. Really, though, it's not.

Here is what I have learned. The reason most of us fail is because there is something in our spirit, some tender place, or some false beliefs that, when we hit a hard spot, sends us to a dead halt.  Most success coaches ignore this, or if they treat it, it's in passing. What I do is help clients move past that place FIRST, and only then attack the tried and true paths. In other words, I prepare your spirit first, then do the grunt work second. And you know what? It works.

If you think that approach makes sense, read on as we talk about what coaching is, how it work, and more importantly, what kind of results the science of statistics say you can expect.

Are you where you want to be in your life?

And if you are not, then the question becomes, how do I get there? You've tried books. Maybe you have gone to classes. And maybe, because you've read the hype, you've considered a personal life coach. There's a reason personal coaching has become such a big part of the success landscape. It works. For anyone who is serious about taking their dreams and creating the life they want, nothing, and I mean nothing, works as well as personal coaching. But is coaching for you?

Later on, I am going to make you a free offer, so you can find out at absolutely no risk and no cost to you. Three free sessions, your first month of coaching, normally $300, at no cost.

Why? Because coaching is an investment, both for you and for me. Making that decision blind doesn't help either of us. I want clients that understand the power of coaching and fully embrace it, otherwise my own investment of time and effort is wasted. And you want to know that coaching has the ability to help you move towards your goals.

One session is not enough to know if you can reap the full benefits of coaching.

But in three sessions, you get a sense of how it works, how it feels, and what it can do for you. You will know if we are a good fit.

Letís talk a little about what coaching is.

Coaching involves the ability and investment in understanding you. When I am working with you one-on-one, it is my highest objective to help you reach your purpose, vision and goals by working through issues and goals specific to your needs.

Coaching works with you one on one in a safe, empowering environment. By using a proven process developed by The John Maxwell Team (the world's largest professional coaching organization) that is tailored specifically to your needs and style, rather than by forcing you to fit a mold, you and I create a strategic plan for you to gain clarity, and thorough a weekly process of interaction and accountability, and systematically move you towards best self. Coaching can be done in person, if you are local, or via two way video on the web using the best technology tools available. This is not magic or hype. It is a proven process that has worked for thousands of clients. It can work for you.

What kind of results can you get from coaching?

Here are a few things you can look forward to improving:

In fact, studies show that overall, coaching clients have an 99% satisfaction rate, and 96% of them would repeat the process.

And you can see if this is for you with no risk.

I offer three free coaching sessions. I could tell you that I am just being a generous soul, and I do like to see people around me succeed. That's been my purpose in life for most of my life. (Just check out my mission statement, which has not changed in two decades.).

But the real reason is that I don't want to waste anyone's time. Not yours and not mine. If you are serious about changing your dreams from mere hopes to reality, then working with a coach is the most reliable way to do this. And three free sessions gives you the chance to test the process and to begin to reap benefits and decide if it makes sense, at no cost. And it tells me I have a serious client who is willing to do the work to create the life they want, without waiting weeks or months to find out.
